Dr. Stephanie graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2004. Later that year, she moved to British Columbia with her husband. Dr. Stephanie practiced mixed animal medicine on a remote island for a year, before settling down to work in a busy small animal practice in North Vancouver. In 2009, she and her husband traveled around the world for a year, volunteering her veterinary services in several of the 24 countries she visited.
Stephanie and her husband moved "home” to the Kitchener/Waterloo area in 2011 to be closer to family while they raise their two young children. Their 90lb mixed breed dog, Nala, has been along for the ride since Vancouver. The whole family loves her…except when she "wags” the kids in the face!
Dr. Stephanie is passionate about preventative medicine, pain management, and quality-of-life management. She also loves a good day in the surgery suite, whether with elective surgery, dentistry, or an emergency surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys running, skiing, hockey, camping, and traveling.
