Gateway Pet Hospital is a well-equipped neighbourhood clinic which has been in its current modern South Kitchener location since 2011. We respect and admire the strength and importance of the human-animal bond. That is why we work closely with pet owners to provide compassionate, high-quality care for the pets we treat while still putting emphasis on preventative medicine.

In August 2026, Gateway became a Fear Free® Certified Veterinary Practice after years of team education and changes to how we welcome and handle patients. We are proud to bring that calmer, more compassionate approach to the dogs and cats of Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge.

As a full-service animal facility, we're proud to provide a wide variety of veterinary medical services for dogs and cats including but not limited to: pet wellness and vaccination programs, dental care, radiography imaging, bloodwork, and surgeries.

We always welcome new clients as well as returning clients with new pets.
