Dr. Lauren knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a very young age. She grew up with a love of all animals and a keen interest in science. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021 following three years of Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. During her veterinary studies, she spent the summers working in research at the University. Although the research focused on respiratory disease in cattle, her passion continued to be small animal medicine. Lauren also spent 6 memorable weeks in South Africa with Global Vets working with wildlife on a game reserve. Dr. Lauren thoroughly enjoys the variety that being a veterinarian has to offer. It provides a lifetime of learning, and no two days are ever the same. She loves making a difference in her patient and client’s lives. Her current interests include surgery and internal medicine. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her fiancé, cooking and spending time at the cottage with the rest of her family.
