Aside from looking neat and fresh, there are many other benefits associated with grooming:

What happens during a grooming appointment?

Typically, most grooms will begin with a thorough bath to clean the coat and prepare it for cutting. Once blow drying and brushing has been completed, the groomer will trim your pet's fur to your desired length. Additionally, we can also perform nail trims, ear cleanings, anal gland expressions, sanitary trims, and paw pad trims.

How often should I groom my pet?

The grooming frequency depends on the length of coat and type of species:

• Short-haired dogs – Brush every week to distribute the skin oils throughout the body
• Long-haired dogs – Brush twice a day but recommended to bathe your dog every 4-6 weeks. For haircuts, every 10-12 weeks.
• Cats – It is important to brush daily for long-haired cats. For medium or short hair, once a week would suffice. Cats however do not need constant bathing – only bathe if necessary
